Blicify Advertising Content Policy

Last Updated: October 15, 2026

This Advertising Content Policy applies to all advertisements submitted to Blicify.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertisements comply with applicable laws, third-party rights, and this Policy.

Blicify may review, reject, require changes to, pause, or remove Advertising Content at any time when reasonably necessary.

1. Content Rights

You must have the necessary rights and permissions to use all content in your advertisement, including:

video, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, fonts, music, artwork, testimonials, names, and likenesses.

Do not submit content owned by another person or company unless you have permission or another lawful right to use it.

2. Truthful Advertising

Advertisements must not contain false, deceptive, misleading, or unsupported statements.

Objective claims about products or services must have an appropriate factual basis before the advertisement runs.

This applies to both express and implied claims.

3. Prohibited Content

Blicify may prohibit advertisements involving:

  • illegal products or services;
  • fraud, scams, or deceptive practices;
  • counterfeit products;
  • copyright or trademark infringement;
  • unauthorized use of a person’s likeness or endorsement;
  • pornography or sexually explicit material;
  • hateful or discriminatory material;
  • threats or graphic violence;
  • malware, malicious QR codes, or deceptive links;
  • fake testimonials or reviews; or
  • other content Blicify reasonably determines is unlawful or unsafe.

4. Restricted or Sensitive Content

The following categories may require additional documentation or prior approval:

  • medical, dental, chiropractic, med-spa, wellness, supplement, weight-loss, or health claims;
  • legal or immigration services;
  • financial, credit, insurance, mortgage, or investment services;
  • alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, CBD, gambling, or other age-restricted products;
  • political, religious, activist, or social-issue advertising;
  • adult or sensitive personal services;
  • before-and-after claims;
  • professional endorsements;
  • awards or rating claims; and
  • comparative claims about competitors.

Approval is not guaranteed.

5. Venue Restrictions

Individual Blicify venue partners may restrict certain categories of advertising.

An advertisement approved for one screen may therefore not necessarily be eligible for every Blicify location.

6. Promotions and Offers

Advertisers are responsible for:

  • advertised prices;
  • coupons;
  • expiration dates;
  • discounts;
  • eligibility requirements;
  • QR codes;
  • links; and
  • any terms or disclosures associated with an offer.

7. Technical Requirements

Advertising files must comply with the technical requirements shown during upload.

Blicify may reject content that cannot be reliably displayed on its screens.

Ads are displayed without audio unless Blicify expressly states otherwise.

8. Enforcement

Blicify may reject, pause, remove, or request changes to Advertising Content.

Approval by Blicify does not transfer legal responsibility for the advertisement from the advertiser to Blicify.

Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of the advertiser’s account.
