Blicify Advertiser Terms

Last Updated: October 15, 2026

These Advertiser Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of advertising services provided by Blicify Inc. (“Blicify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By uploading advertising content, placing an order, purchasing a campaign, or otherwise using Blicify’s advertising services, you agree to these Terms and our Advertising Content Policy.

If you do not agree, do not purchase or use Blicify advertising services.

1. Blicify Advertising Services

Blicify operates a local digital advertising network that displays advertising content on screens located inside participating businesses and venues.

Advertisers may select available screens or campaigns through the Blicify platform and submit advertising content for display.

Unless otherwise stated, Blicify advertisements are displayed without audio.

Campaign-specific details, including selected screens, campaign dates, ad duration, price, billing frequency, and renewal terms, will be shown at checkout or in your campaign confirmation.

2. Account and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old to create an advertiser account.

If you use Blicify on behalf of a company, organization, or other business, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf and agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

3. Advertising Content

“Advertising Content” includes videos, images, logos, trademarks, business names, slogans, QR codes, offers, claims, testimonials, graphics, links, or other materials submitted by you.

You are responsible for your Advertising Content.

By submitting Advertising Content, you represent that:

  • you own or have permission to use the content;
  • you have the necessary rights to all video, images, logos, trademarks, music, fonts, likenesses, and other materials used;
  • the content does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights;
  • your advertising claims are truthful, accurate, and not misleading;
  • you have appropriate support for objective advertising claims;
  • you will honor advertised prices, promotions, discounts, coupons, or offers; and
  • the content complies with applicable law and Blicify’s Advertising Content Policy.

4. Review and Approval

Advertising Content may be reviewed before or after it begins running.

Blicify may reject, request changes to, pause, restrict, or remove Advertising Content that Blicify reasonably believes:

  • violates law or these Terms;
  • violates the Advertising Content Policy;
  • infringes third-party rights;
  • contains deceptive or unsupported claims;
  • violates restrictions imposed by a participating venue;
  • presents legal, technical, safety, community, or reputational concerns; or
  • is technically unsuitable for the Blicify network.

Blicify’s approval of an advertisement does not mean that Blicify has verified the advertiser’s legal rights, licenses, claims, or compliance.

You remain responsible for your Advertising Content.

Rejecting or removing Advertising Content, including taking it down in response to a copyright complaint, does not cancel your booking. The screen stays reserved for you and keeps renewing until you cancel it, and time during which your booking has no approved ad is not credited or refunded.

5. Campaign Availability

Screen availability may change because of venue closures, equipment issues, internet or power outages, maintenance, partner changes, or other circumstances.

If a purchased screen becomes materially unavailable, Blicify may, in good faith, provide advertising credit or a refund.

6. Proof-of-Play

Blicify may provide playback records or proof-of-play information showing when and where an advertisement was recorded as played.

An “ad play” means that Blicify’s system recorded the advertisement as played or scheduled as played on a particular screen.

Proof-of-play does not establish:

  • a verified human view;
  • an impression;
  • attention or recall;
  • store traffic;
  • QR scans;
  • leads;
  • sales;
  • conversions; or
  • return on investment.

7. No Guaranteed Advertising Results

Blicify does not guarantee sales, leads, store visits, website visits, QR scans, conversions, revenue, profit, audience size, or any particular advertising result.

Advertisers are responsible for determining whether a campaign is appropriate for their business, audience, and marketing goals.

8. Pricing and Payment

You agree to pay the price displayed at checkout or otherwise confirmed by Blicify.

Payment may be processed by third-party payment processors.

Your booking starts, and its price is deducted from your credit balance, when you check out. Your ad runs once it has been uploaded and approved.

Applicable taxes may be added where required.

9. Monthly Campaigns, Credit, and Automatic Renewal

Blicify campaigns are paid for using Blicify advertising credit. You add credit to your account through a one-time purchase. Blicify does not automatically charge your payment card.

Campaigns renew automatically each month until you cancel. All of your campaigns share one monthly renewal date. A screen added partway through a month is charged a prorated amount for the rest of that month.

At each renewal, Blicify deducts the renewal amount from your Blicify credit balance. The renewal amount uses each screen’s price at the time of renewal, which may differ from the price you paid before, for example when a discount event ends. We send you a reminder before each renewal.

Before completing checkout, Blicify displays the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method.

If your credit balance does not cover the full renewal amount, nothing is deducted and all of your campaigns are paused. A paused campaign does not reserve its advertising slot, and the slot may become available to another advertiser. You may resume a paused campaign after adding credit, subject to screen availability.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not refund credit already deducted for the current month.

10. Credit, Cancellation, and Refunds

Blicify credit can be used only for Blicify advertising services and cannot be transferred to another account. Credit does not expire.

You may cancel a campaign at any time on the Billing page of your account. A cancelled campaign runs until the end of the month already paid for and then stops renewing.

Cancelling or reducing a campaign stops future renewals of what you cancelled or removed, but does not refund credit already deducted for periods already billed. Credit already deducted is also not refunded when Advertising Content is rejected or removed. Lack of sales, leads, traffic, scans, conversions, or ROI does not create a refund right.

You may request a refund of a credit purchase within 14 days after the purchase if none of the credit from that purchase has been used. Your credit is held in one balance, so a purchase counts as unused only if, when the refund is made, your balance (not counting credit that did not come from a purchase) is at least the amount of that purchase. A refund is always for the full amount of the purchase and is made to the original payment method. A purchase that has been disputed with your card issuer cannot be refunded. To request a refund, email legal@blicify.com from the email address on your account.

Credit is otherwise not refundable, including when you close your account, except as stated in these Terms or where required by law. Credit that did not come from a purchase, such as converted partner earnings, is not refundable.

If you dispute a credit purchase with your card issuer, the disputed amount is removed from your credit balance. If that leaves your balance below zero, your account is frozen: your campaigns stop running and, after a short grace period, no longer reserve their advertising slots. When your balance is back to zero or above, your account is reactivated. Campaigns restart if their slots are still available, except campaigns whose paid month ended while your account was frozen: those must be resumed, and paid for, from Billing, subject to availability.

If a material service problem is caused by Blicify, Blicify may, in good faith, provide advertising credit or a refund.

11. License to Display Advertising Content

You grant Blicify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, transmit, display, and distribute your Advertising Content as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate your campaign;
  • display advertisements on Blicify screens;
  • create previews;
  • schedule and test advertisements;
  • provide proof-of-play;
  • maintain required operational, legal, tax, or compliance records.

You retain ownership of your Advertising Content.

12. Platform Availability and Third-Party Services

Blicify may use third-party providers for services such as hosting, databases, storage, payments, authentication, and network infrastructure.

Blicify does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Maintenance, internet outages, power outages, third-party outages, device failures, or other technical events may temporarily affect availability.

13. Intellectual Property

The Blicify platform, software, trademarks, branding, interfaces, documentation, reports, technology, and related intellectual property belong to Blicify or its licensors.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, resell, or misuse the Blicify platform except as permitted by law or authorized by Blicify.

14. Copyright Complaints

Blicify may disable or remove Advertising Content in response to copyright complaints, intellectual property claims, or other legal notices.

Our copyright reporting process is described in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

15. Suspension and Termination

Blicify may suspend or terminate an account or campaign for reasons including:

payment failure, policy violations, unlawful advertising, repeated intellectual property complaints, abuse of the platform, security concerns, or material breach of these Terms.

16. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blicify provides its services on an “as available” basis and disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

Blicify does not guarantee audience reach, business results, continuous screen availability, or uninterrupted service.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blicify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the services.

Except where prohibited by law, Blicify’s total liability relating to a campaign will not exceed the amount paid to Blicify for the affected campaign during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Blicify and its officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and participating venue partners from third-party claims arising from:

your Advertising Content, your products or services, your advertising claims or promotions, infringement of third-party rights, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

19. Changes

Blicify may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will apply prospectively unless an earlier change is reasonably necessary for legal, security, safety, or compliance reasons.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any court proceeding relating to these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Orange County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
